Only Premium bullets are suggested such as Nosler partition, Accubond, Barnes, or Winchester fail-safe, any good bonded bullet, or mono metal design which will expand on impact.
The recommended grains are:
.270 150 grains
7mm 160 grains
.308 or .3006 Caliber: 180 grains
.300 180 grains
.338 250 grains
.375 270 or 300 grains Barnes now has a 350 grain .375 bullet
It is not advised to come to Africa with a cheap and poorly manufactured Rifle Scope. If you do not know, ask your local gun dealer, a friend or contact the NRA or SCI and they will happily help you.
